Ask anyone – let alone any child – what’s frightening at the dentist, and it’s always one of two things.
Drills or needles. Ugh.
So we’ve replaced them with lasers. All a child feels is a splash of water as our laser gently removes decay, leaving more of the healthy tooth intact. Laser care means less bleeding, less pain and faster healing – and anesthesia usually isn’t necessary.
Lasers are also gentle and effective for soft tissue procedures, even as delicate as a tongue-tie release in a newborn. Once you see how well lasers and teeth go together, traditional dentistry will seem, well, traditional.
And lasers are just one way we’re fulfilling the promise of tomorrow’s oral health today. We also use digital x-rays and an intra-oral minicam in our e-office.
