Dr. Shadi Araghi (rhymes with “froggy”) earned her DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery) degree nearly 15 years ago. She practiced dentistry for 7 years before completing her 3-year residency at Tufts Dental School in Boston.
During her residency at Tufts, Dr. Araghi focused on the use of lasers, pediatric sedation, orthodontics and on treating patients with special needs. She also completed a pediatric rotation at the New England Medical Center.
Dr. Araghi swims, skiis and reads avidly. She has one child of her own, and her husband, Dr. Ray Besharati, is also a dentist – but he only treats adults.
She is certified in Virginia, Washington, and is a member of:
