We welcome patients with developmental, intellectual and physical challenges, from autism to ADHD, Down syndrome to ADD and unspecified retardation. In fact, these patients’ conditions may result in their needing more dental care than most, and our lasers may be the least possibly intrusive dentistry.
Your needs as a parent are important, too. We coordinate care with your child’s PPC (primary care physician), therapists and specialists, and if you prefer a before- or after-hours appointment, want to bring special toys or equipment, or have other special requests, please call us.
We recognize that sometimes, regardless of how gentle and unintimidating our care, some children can’t respond due to their special needs. When appropriate, we arrange for hospitalization in order to provide the general anesthesia that these patients may require.
