Education and Experience
While earning my Doctorate of Dental Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, I discovered my passion for working with children through honors projects in Community Oral Health and the Medically Complex Clinic. Inspired by helping timid smiles grow into confident ones, I completed my specialty in pediatric dentistry at Rady Children’s Hospital in San Diego, where I also served as chief resident. Since then, I have had the privilege of caring for countless families, creating positive dental experiences that support lifelong health.

I actively engage in continuing education to stay at the forefront of pediatric dentistry, incorporating the latest evidence-based techniques, materials, and technology to benefit my patients. I have also completed specialized training in tongue-tie evaluation and treatment with leading educators to best support feeding and oral development.
Additionally, I have a passion for contributing to my community. I serve as an editor for the Pediatric Dental Study Guide, a resource used by trainees preparing for their boards in pediatric dentistry and by colleagues caring for children with special health care needs.
Beyond the Practice
Outside of Highlands Kids Dentistry, I love spending time outdoors with my family and caring for our local community. When indoors, I enjoy learning about different cultures through cooking and relaxing with a good book. I am always interested in hearing what my patients and their families enjoy, so please feel free to share your favorites!
